Will unassuming Wednesday become a snack? Will it arise to smack back? Or will Torg fail his roll on attack?

Well, at least he's not a nudist, like that bird was.

P.S. Chapter 72 was finally added to the list of chapters in the book, neat!

I don't know Pete's intention, but for some raisin I read Chauden's lines in an Irish accent.

Are all Caribs named for food? Chauden or ....

Chaudin (from the French word for stomach), also referred to as ponce or Southern Louisiana Ponce, is a meat dish from southern Louisiana, US, (primarily the southwestern portion of the state). It is a sausage-like variant made from ingredients sewn up in a pig's stomach. The stuffing includes spices, pork, rice (or it can be served over rice) and vegetables including onions and peppers. It can be prepared in a Dutch oven, crock pot, or baked in an oven and is often sold smoked. It is often made with a Holy Trinity Gravy, a roux with brown chopped onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in water, broth or wine.

Sorceress, eh?

I was wondering how she'd be drawn back in.

Name withheld. No, not Gwynn.

Also, yeah. Looks like a Carib to me. Okay, now I'm on the lookout for familiar names that we might maybe have been seeing before in the future/past/whatever.

If you know what I mean. Who wants to re-read a chapter to help spot potentially familiar Carib? I don't want to say they all look the same to me, but.....
Woops! Racially insensitive comment . Sorry carib!
Maybe there's something to that Calix comment earlier, afterall.

...I think I lasted ONE DAY when I suggested that everything might just be random with no connections to anything in this storyline? Hmm.

I would have thought that after six months Torg would have a good grasp on which species are "animated" and which aren't. Are there both "people" and "animal" versions of reindeer?

Are Caribs supposed to be reindeer? I always thought they had a bit of moose in 'em...

I thought they were caribou, hence the name.

I read it as a Cockney accent. He's obviously speaking with some kind of British accent.

I thought they were caribou, hence the name.

And "caribou" seems to be another word for "reindeer".

Some of the caribs in timeless space had really weird antlers though, which made it difficult to tell what species they were supposed to be based on.

That's certainly a nice fellow. Nice to see Riff's rigid mindset come up too.

Love caribs!

Note that while Riff looks grumpy while he talks about capes, his anima is happy because he's eating pie. Maybe his grumpiness now and then is just what he likes to show the world.

Of course, that they wipe out the monsters around the town also means the carib can safely go there and trade.

Remember how Riff lived for many years with a carib woman. Alas, that was the Riff in Dimension of Rain, so he has no memory of it. But I wonder if he had time to mention it to Torg while he was telling him how he ended up in 4U City. "I lived with a woman who looked like a deer" shouldn't take too long.
