I hate to say this, but Daebo is giving me a kind of "Jar Jar Binks" vibe... :sam: Kind of like an un-ironic Snorf...

Just sayin'...

Aww! So far he's cute. More like an Ewok, if you want to go starwars. He was adorable when he said he dislocated his shoulder in the last comic. Very muppet-like to me.

No. Its a bloody caribou! The most lovable, most flavorful, least comedically astute of nature's sentient beings.

And while I want to say you should always check for Anima I guess it would make hunting really hard.

I *have* noticed that the teamster has an anima, but the beasts of burden do not.

Nice backfill of story ... now, WHY is the DFA not working?

Oh wait ... it's a Riff invention. :-(

It occurs to me that Daebo might be the same species as the creature they accidentally killed previously.

Hardly the same species – unless males and females are very different in size and appearance in their species – but more or less related. They certainly look like they're both from the dinosaurs-and-birds branch of the tree of life.

I'll put my 2 cents on "they're all just random, unconnected things". For once.

Coincidence? In Sluggy?! That's crazy talk!!

Exactly. I'd say they aren't much closer related than that.

Aw, I was betting on Stu too.

I think Riff now resembles a combination of Calix's father and The Krig.
