It's here everyone, the Spooky Times are upon us! Time for the Halloween mischief and mayhem to commence! Woohoo! Can't wait to see what happens! Been waiting all month for this!Any second now...Um...Well, this was not what I was expecting after all of that hype.Should I be disappointed? Riff really need to start travelling different dimensions and stealing alt!Riff's research on DFA. Every Alt!Riffs knows more about DFA than Riff himself. Every time he's returned with the help of various alt!Riffs' technology, it's about time he got that technology for himself.
Meanwhile, Torg's gonna have nightmares about this yet again. His last words to stranded Riff were basically - shut up if you're not gonna be useful. He's gonna blame himself about the fact that Riff decided to be useful.

That last panel thought. So lonely. Well done Pete. It's Riff though, so I have no doubt that he'll turn up again. Just give him some time. I bet it's already going through his mind as he's staring out at the empty space where Riff had been. (My spec is still possible though, so I have hope!). Torg needs Riff and vice versa. They help keep each other in check, and they tend to not realize the advantage of working together sometimes. As Bunbun once said when Torg left for 6 months He overvalued Riff's tech and undervalued his own leadership. And adventures in dimensions alone have been trauma-inducing to both of them. I don't think it'll be as bad for Torg this time. It's very different from the apparent death of Riff and Zoe before. Guilt, sure, but he knows if anyone could come back from it, it's Riff.
Of course, that won't stop Pete from possibly stabbing an "off-camera" knife in OUR hearts...
This could be the perfect setup for Riff to SPEC...
