This is what I am thinking. He isn't able to ram the cannon in time, so he is trying to get in front of the shot so that he gets fluxed instead. And hopefully that will give Torg enough time to take out the cannon before it fires on the next Target.
And then hopefully Riff can meet up with Monicruel and get them both back to this dimension/world and all will be well again. YAY!
