Well... Her body is still her body, that's for sure. And she was saved before she was 'dead', whatever that means. Which mean she's still have own soul...
Of course, real-she was cursed, and current-she is not cursed, so I can understand her doubts.

Wait, does anyone else think something is off with that flashback?
Also, glad that there's confirmation at least one of the gang who isn't a bunny is willing to kill Schlock.

Lousy aim, Zoƫ.
And lousy zap-gun if it can't even burn through an inflatable bulkhead. But maybe Schlock was smart and designed a gun that wouldn't poke holes in his space station.
And "free love" was really more of a 60's thing...
(Though I have a friend whose mother, born around 1910, was named "Freelove" ........)

What I said in a prior thread about Zoe being so nice? Yeah, let's replace "nice" with "good" there. Good Is Not (always) Nice.

Wow, that's a great strip. Really great that Pete shows us what Zoe's perspective would be, which is so different from the viewers' perspective. She has been forced to live on the run for so long, and she doesn't even know if she's herself or a copy. That is really emotional.
Also great to see her attack Dr. Schlock. She usually doesn't attack people, but he really deserves it. Too bad she didn't hit him.

If you're doing that disarm trick, the key it to push the gun into your opponent's body muzzle first, so their trigger finger, which is still trapped in the guard, presses the trigger. Makes it tough to miss.
Also, crazy as it may sound, I'm kind of with Frog here. Only I'm drinking Bourbon.
Tasty, tasty bourbon.

Sasha and Oasis then popped in and they all started singing "I Think I'm A Clone Now" by Weird Al. Besties for life. All of them.
Jaimie kinda looks like what I guess Riff's mom would look like back in the day.
Also: this strip was fantastic. Zoe has been through a lot.

Terrified, so must be the real one.
I wish she could have at least shot off a toe though. Lol.

Yez, you are a copy. We all are. On average, the DNA in human cells is programed to die every seven years. That's why we need to eat to live. Every cell in your body is less than seven years old.

And how does an old guy move that fast?

Every cell in your body is less than seven years old. That's not true. Neurons are never replaced. Your body is a copy, but your mind is not. As for Zoe... Her mind/personality was erased by the nanites, then later a copy of her mind was written onto that blank slate. So yeah, by that logic, she is a copy. Also heart cells are replaced at an extremely slow rate. So slow in fact, that by the time a person dies of old age, only about half of the cells have been replaced.
