Oof. Massive plot drop today. I've got nothing, I'll wait to see what the rest of you think.

I think two weeks is too long to wait, but I'll muddle through it.
Also, I really still hope Schlock dies at the end of all this.

And Schlock was worried about what Kusari would do?? I have sooo many questions about this AI. Who was responsible for building it? When was it first brought online? What is its relationship to Kusari and Oasis? (I don't suppose Riff will be able to save the day by pulling the plugs again…)

Wow. Nanobot repair technology for transdimensional weapon. But a seriously broken terminal that replaces random characters while scrolling...

Yikes! This is a scary development. I should have expected it in hindsight. Why else would we have been shown that option earlier? But ouch, what a cliffhanger!

Aha, so Schlock didn't mind firing the "DFA canon" without Oasis' invisibility cloak because he's planning to leave all his enemies "holding the bag". AI-links-multiU seems to be as carefully programmed and tested as most other software in the world. Seeing that Schlock ordered the "canon" repaired, I wonder whether he's aware of the defect in AI-links-multiU that will cause it to spontaneously enter the "Scorched Earth" program. One thing that he seems unaware of is that there is at least one Kusashus left on the ground – the one that was offline in the truck. I'm starting to think that the "canon" spelling means something. Schlock and Shankraft call it "DFA canon", but Shankraft also says "that cannon". AI-links-multiU writes "cannon", but that software is full of spelling errors. balthazar wrote: Once again I am very glad I live in Canada.
