I knew Schlock wasn't as stupid as he was appearing. And the discovery over magic not faring well in space is another interesting one; makes the idea of a space station that much more appealing given his enemies.

So I guess this means there is no magic in Timeless Space either, huh?

Nice. So, launch the Book of E-ville into deep space and be done with it? Or would weakening the magic of the book have the opposite of the intended result, freeing K'Z'K? kansaichris wrote: So I guess this means there is no magic in Timeless Space either, huh? There's definitely magic in Timeless Space. We've seen it. From Baba Yaga.

That's awfully convenient. So magic comes from the earth, if proximity to it is relevant? And the earth is causing the destruction of all of timeless space?
What an earth-centric view! I guess we really are the center of the sluggyverse.

Hm. I wonder if that's completely true. How would they test that?

Well, we know for sure Schlock is only half-right about magic not working in space, as Chaz seems to have no problems staying powered up. Spells, maybe, but not magic.
I wonder if it would actually slow Gwynn down, since she draws her power directly from the book.

So many questions....
Would magic work on other planets? It could be magic needs a planet to draw power from. Or more specifically, a life supporting planet. So magic in Earth, yes, but not on Mars. And would Gwynn, being powered by the Bug be any kind of exception?
Also, Chaz still works in space. If course, being from another dimension, he likely doesn't follow the same rules. In fact we know he explicitly breaks rules concerning immortality. Oasis and Kusari being exceptions because their bodies are just meat puppets, he hasn't had a chance to cut the real them yet.

Abra-ka-straight-pin! I laughed!
I couldn't believe Schlock's fearless "Nope" to her question. He could be calm because he wasn't actually there.

"Why won't you let me kill you? Now that you resisted, I have no choice but to kill you. It's your own fault that you resisted me killing you, now I have to kill you". Is that guy for real? How many layers of self-delusion and circular logic is he on?

Gwynns magic is demonic (sorta, not really) so maybe distance spec spec KZK the pits of heck spec spec. For all we and doc know there may be more than one type of magic. Which would explain the magic in timeless space, the Kesadru's well stuff, I think there was magic in the Anime Verse, Gwynn fighting in the magic tournament way far off in the semi-cannon side story Dimension of Pain (alternate Earth? Science?) Tower of Time Chaz in space Those two soul seller guy's pocket dimension thingy who got killed by the spirit of Chaz when Aylee made it rain blood in the living room. The well of souls Oasis and Kusari (high orbit) Wherever the fate spider is
Doc: no one in the group was nice Gwynn: What about Kiki? **flashback to Kiki saying "You Stink" over and over and pooping in his hat** Doc: No.
And Torg was always super nice.

Well yea, KZK and all of the original Gods came from Earth. The Earth is soaked in their divine essence (which is a fancy way of saying they poop outside wherever they want). Some say you can feel their divine presence (picture of Torg cleaning up Bun Buns waste bin while holding his nose). They also built the Tower to Timeless space on Earth.
