Friday is disappointed in all of you. Okay, not all of you. Actually figured most would not check, but figured there would be at least one who would of noticed and mentioned something. Oh well, the date has passed and it's too late now... ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote with unwashed hands every day.

I was wondering how they'd get in there.

That is some Attack On Titan centrifugal forces going on right there. Again, I blame the Fate Spider for so many fortuitous events that lined up perfectly.

reaction 1: Wow, I never knew Torg and Zoë were such swingers.
reaction 2: So much twang, it's like a country music concert in space.

Yay! This made me smile In my binge re-reading of the archives, I've just gotten to the beginning of "Falling," where Torg says good-bye to Zoe, and now they're together again

Remember, in space, no one can hear you Twang.

And then, without anything to slow them down, they crashed into the other side of the airlock and died.
That or the artificial gravity throws them back out the airlock.

That or the artificial gravity throws them back out the airlock. Maybe the inflatable-ness of the station cushioned their landing.

"I've got you." God, what a cute panel!
But growrr, gurr, must find unrealistic things to point out to look intelligent and superior. Like in every other comment section for online comics. A certain kind of people put them to good use. Comments must be full of snark! Showing appreciation for the comic you read is for fools!

That or the artificial gravity throws them back out the airlock. You seem to be looking for real physics at work here. Are you new to this comic?

But even for the Sluggyverse, you gotta admit that's a prreeeettttyyy unlikely event...
Re the artificial gravity: is it actually artificial gravity, and not centrifugal force? The station is shaped like the classic rotating-ring-simulating-gravity design. The open door T & Z just twangged into appears to be on the outside ("down" side) of the ring, which would suggest the artificial gravity COULD throw them out. But now that I think of it, the airlock doors that Roberts went through were on the WALL of the space station, which would make a LOT more sense. Am I misreading where the door is? Or does Pete have to re-draw it?? :-D

What some people don't understand is speed. What we watched was time-lapse panels. It took then 15-20 minutes to make the swing that ended with a gentle drop.

Now that I think about it again, yeah, they're probably traveling kinda slowly. Torg+Zoë combined would have (roughly) twice the mass of just Torg and would be traveling at half the speed that Torg was in the previous comic. Although the physics of this still don't make a lot of sense.
