Well Pete appears to of come down with a variant of Plague-Lite©, so Monday is going to go work on producing some Cure-Lite™ to sel- er, help Pete out. Just remember to breath deeply when around...I mean don't breath around him. It would be horrible if anyone else would contract some Plague-Lite© v5.2.

All things considered, Bun Bun seems to be taking this rather well. :bunbun:

I don't think a roll of tape and a bicycle pump is going to be able to fix the XT-34 this time.

Yes, RIP XT-34. :-(

A whole 'lotta screamin' goin' on in this strip... looking bad in general for our folk!

("Ewww," Oasis??)

BTW Pete -- TAKE CARE of yourself! If you have the same type of Venusian Death Flu I had, it'll knock you on your kiester. I ran up to 103°F fever for a week, but even after the fever stopped I wasn't ready for any normal workloads for a MONTH. Nasty stuff.

You know, given that Pete now has a sick child in the house, I really hope the "explosive projectile dire-rea" isn't inspired by recent real-life events!

Wow!
If I were in those situations, I'd be saying the same thing.

I was most worried about Gwynn getting squished in the ship though!

Interesting that Oasis has enough of a hold on herself to say ew at the explosives from the Dire-REA rather than scream.

This is another one of those "how in the world are they getting out of this one?" moments.

Whoa, that's a lot of screaming. Seems like the rollercoaster is now at the bottom of the hill, with Schlock having the upperhand at the moment. I hope that reverses soon. I wonder if they intended to pop the XT-34 instead of bringing it into the station, or if they just squeezed too hard. Crap, I was hoping to see BunBun get onto the station.
Still, it's nice to see BunBun and Kiki again, even if for a moment. And Kiki's "wheeeee" might mean that the container they are in is being projectile'd out ship...hopefully in the direction of the station? That would be nice.

And I see that Torg is still out of control but coming around the station. It would be nice if he was suddenly going towards something useful, something he could attack, maybe?

Does Bun-Bun have a jetpack on?
Also - I think Oasis has it together enough, in the face of projectile DIRE-REA because.. well she can't really die? I mean, it would be inopportune, at best, since her "brain" is in the process of being taken by Dr. Schlock... Plus, someone had to say "ewwww"

YES. That's exactly what I was thinking!

Also, I love that Kiki's suit says "tube rat" and that she has a mermaid tail. :D

Oh, and way to stay cool, Oasis.

Is that a roll of toilet paper in panel 6?

She could though, if the idiot targets her satellite by mistake. Which, let's face it, is a genuine possibility given that we're dealing with a Hereticorp grunt.

Oasis doesn't respond to the threat of imminent death the way that people who can die respond (of course). Her "ewww" is in response to hearing the Dire-REA operator on the radio saying "explosive projectile diarhea". Ewww, indeed.

Will Riff finally go out in a big Ka-boom?
