Holiness is entirely a matter of religion. I can imagine that Christians would consider Chaz unholy. It is magic, and Christian churches always seem to view magic as ungodly – except for miracles performed by God I suppose. I don't know what people of other religions might think. I'm not sure that all religions even have a concept comparable to holiness.

For that matter, atrocities in the name of faith may be considered holy by those who share that faith, as Chaz himself noted. "That which redeems consumes."

An act that someone considers evil may be seen as good by someone else.

Prime example: Soldier on the battlefield, badly injured. Fatally injured, with no hope for medical intervention. But suffering horribly. His buddy puts a bullet through his head to end his suffering.
The military REMF's consider the buddy horribly evil for killing his best friend. Those who have been there, consider him a hero.

Is Chaz evil? No, but he may be wielded in an evil way. At least as generally recognized as evil by most of the world. Maybe not so evil in some eyes.

It's all context driven!
