More than just forgetting him. She seems to actively despise him.
Well, I just reread her intro chapters, and she doesn't seem to be much different now than the way she was before she was commanded to love Torg- she was pretty brusque and hostile even without being told to be that way..
My thought is that, way back when, Oasis didn't get the best first impression from Torg: After all, he fell in front of her while she was bathing in a lake. He then acted in a rather clueless manner that might have made him seem more an "abhorrent admirer" than anything else. This makes Oasis's response understandable, indeed measured. Of course, we all know what happened next.
Now we have a situation, close to 2 decades later, where Oasis has been ordered to "forget about Torg"; the same Torg who was notionally her fiancé. Seeing Oasis has already described herself as "not having a good day", which is an understatement, her irritation at Torg is understandable. He is a complete stranger who is treating her with a familiarity that any one of us would also regard as annoying under the best of circumstances. She is just blunter than any one of us would be when expressing her ire, something that is also understandable in light of the events of the day so far.
