Actually, I agree that they are switchblades as well. I just think he is smart enough to know how to used them around inflatables.

I think so, but don't forget that Schlock has a Kusari with him (the one that locked Roberts in an airlock) in addition to the two incoming with Torg and Riff.

True that. BUT apparently only three can be active at any one time. The only way Schlock's "spare" Kusari can be activated without shutting down one of the two that are already approaching is to shut down the one on the army base. Unless that happens during Earth's night (when she should be 'sleeping' anyway) shutting down the Army-Sasha other than permanently may bring unwelcome scrutiny. And shutting her down permanently would cause them to lose that precious ground to space access.

Notice he has a "headlight" over each shoulder. Which, I think, are mounted on his jetpack.

I'm sure we'll see before too long...
