I was thinking something similar along with Bun Bun willingly hiding in a box....

I love the close-ups on everyone's expressions today.
Kusari/Sashi's inscrutable/preoccupied with their tasks,
Aylee, hurt but still fighting
Izzy, understandably exhausted
Oasis, uncertain
Schlock, sinister-happy
Torg, utterly worried
Riff, we've lost but resolute
Zoe, hopeful and optimistic
Gwynn, nervous but ready

Bunbun and Kiki completely surprised me though! Thank goodness we have some ace's up our sleeves, albeit unbeknownst to the gang.

I really like today's strip. The shading in the top two rows really brings the scene to life. I suspect that the relative lack of shading in the bottom row is to juxtapose it with the other two, but it lacks the same power and thus I don't like it quite as much.

My interpretation of the facial expressions:
Kusari and Sasha are focused on the task at hand.
Aylee seems to be in pain.
Izzy appears to be having a nightmare.
Oasis seems to be a combination of sadness and determination.
Schlock is in eager anticipation.
Frog is looking at Schlock and looks worried.
Riff shows grim determination.
Torg is apprehensive.
Gwynn is uneasy.
Zoe shows no emotion with a wan smile plastered onto her face.

I missed that! Thanks!

An excellent way of putting it.

I was wondering what Bun Bun's play was going to be. Stowaway, fine, but why bring Kiki into it?

One thing has been bugging me about the spacesuits. The hands of the suits don't have any fingers. It's hard enough manipulating things on Earth with mittens on. It would be dramaticly harder doing that while weightless.

Okay, two things actually. None of the spacesuits in the ship appear to have an oxygen supply hooked up to any of them, either by hose or pack.

I'm sure it's all inflatable tech, so air probably isn't in short supply.

As long as they didn't accidentally use helium. Hey they gotta generate lift somehow! (that's how it works right?)
