He doesn't need Kusari to win, there's just no way he would side with Oasis. Since Kusari is also fighting Oasis, that puts her on Bun-Bun's side automatically. Bun-Bun logic.
Of course, Bun-Bun logic also dictates that when/if they beat Oasis, Bun-Bun immediately switches sides back to Team Nerdboy and kicks the crap out of Kusari.
