Of all the productive and interesting things Tuesday could of done yesterday, it instead did this... This was about when I had max obscuration (85%) where I was. And to think of all the things I could of done, I did this. ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. Mon=[#140 -1 *554] Tue=[#140 -0 *576] NCoIDâ„¢3

Wow. Torg running off is really bothering Kusari. This could go any number of ways.

Hmm, is it now Kusari's turn to attempt misdirection? And what did Dr Chen actually inject into Oasis's neck? Whatever it was, it can't be good. Today is the 3rd strip before Sluggy's 20th. My soundtrack selection, assuming anyone is actually listening, is Don't Stop by Fleetwood Mac.

Yeah, and it's more emotion than Kusari normally displays too.
How many times have they actually met over the years? I can think of two others, le snootier and the R&D facility in Pennsylvania.
Sounds like she has some knowledge of our Torg, and animosity as well. Very interesting.

The only thing that can make Kusari show emotions - her mission in jeopardy. Go Torg!

I am slightly concerned over why Kusari seems so concerned.... Stay safe Torg!

Maybe it's just me, I am quite strange. I think I agree about the last pannel, the animosity I saw was in the 'you never we're as smart as you thought you were' line. The 'friction' at least, if not animosity, coupled with the odd concern, and apparent insight; along with having only met the twice before (that we know of) has an odd feel. It makes me wonder exactly how much we don't know about Torg. Of course it could be Kusari trying to distract Torg / salvage her mission.

"How come you're so talky?"
The fact that Kusari is trying to goad Torg into staying is amusing. Oh Marcus what have you done?

Kusari really doesn't want Torg to go after Chen. Doesn't want him to fin the rebirth facility? I'm thinking it's not as dumb an idea as she's pretending.

Is she trying to get him to stay or make him curious enough to pursue Chen? I think it's the latter based on her taunting.

Looks like Oasis is not the top priority anymore.

Still... this suggests Kurasi does have some sort of established relationship with Torg and that narrows down who she really is. Kusari always follows her orders, even if it kills her. Her last order was to take Chen and do *something*. The incoming Riff is also a high priority kill order, but I wonder which has the highest priority to her. I can't imagine kusari getting all emotional now, but hey.... it's the 20+ deadline! Anything is fair game now!
