Pete deserves at least ONE day off!
Wizz.
Noone is sayign Pete doesnt deserve a day off. I think in all honesty people would prefer to not have any comic on Saturdays rather than MITDOG. Pete could start doing comics every other day if he needed to, I would still be happy. If he need the rest he can have it, but having something up there that is generally not liked by the majority of the fanbase is irritating.

American's love affair with celebrity has a perverse twist that makes anyone formerly famous that isn't currently cool somehow a pariah. Frankly I find it pathetic. Steve Irwin, much like Phil Collins, Rod Stewart or Billy Crystal, are people that used to be famous for a good reason, and haven't either died young (like Jim Morrison) or done pathetic acts to keep in the limelight (like Madonna). That shouldn't subjugate them to sad jokes and pathetic "where are they now" riffs. So the croc hunter isn't a big deal anymore, big whiff, find another celebrity to lampoon and move on.
Steve Uozin was part of the DoP, though, and Ian had used him in earlier MitDo... strips. It's not as if Ian is suddenly introducing a new character from Pete's Bottomless Drawer of Non-Entities.

First post - be kind.
Wasn't Uozin's "wife" Mammara Pandersum? In the comic, she's referred to as Jerri ... am I wrong, or did Ian screw up?

No, Mammara was a different blonde demoness... who had just appeared a few Saturdays ago.

I feel this goes along with the point I am not allowed to make (:P Thyla,) that having two comic strips intertwined with one another instead of keeping them seperate... is confusing and destracting. Note that I am making no suggestion about what could be done about this. As that would be silly.
Hwa!
- Nifty these!
(Please note that I like MitDoG and formerly MitDoP, and am not dissing them in any way.)

Somehow I find Sock-Puppet's analysis to be funnier than the entire strip.
Another random and useless plot twist beaten into us by the studio audience repeating it?
I will say I like the Jerry Springer deamon for the artist value. See? I can say something nice. :)

The analysis *did* made me laugh my head off.
Every now and again, you stumble upon a comic strip that really makes you laugh - that you can somehow relate to - that is clever and well drawn - that you want to print out and stick on your fridge. This Saturday's MitDoG was a comic strip.

That would be me. Sorry admin-type people, I didn't know there was a rule.
