Hmm, another piece of this plot's puzzle is nearly complete, soon we might know what is going on?

The plot thickens! more!
I too thought this was an all serious strip until the last panel. Haha, nice one Pete!

Hoo-kay ... something is starting to connect now.
Actually, that's kinda exciting.
Curious about the next bits.

This particular sub-plot is like an almost ripe banana. We just need a few more days and it will be ready to eat. But, because we still have the Sluggy V. Cloners and Kada V. Space Moose sub-plots, we could have a banana split on our hands.

So anyway, wouldn't it be funny if Pete never revisited or tied Sluggy Prime into this at all? As in, he just starts over with these characters and no mention of the old ones are ever given again?
...Nope.

Been looking for that set of strips, with no luck. It's in the Partially Sluggy set of webcomics... ya know, the cut n paste ones. Found here. It's in the Halloween Wars chapter, for future ref. BTW, Callix is growing on me as well. Edit2: Edited because it made no sense, was probably wrong, and all that stuff. >.<
We're Riff?
No.
BOTOH, picture Calix with his hair tied back and snazzy shades ....
?
It reminds me of those silly pointless questions on the SAT ...
CALIX:RIFF :: SASHA:KADA
or is it
CALIX:RIFF :: KADA:SASHA ?
In any event, I'd love to see the return of Partially Sluggy. Might we say "Partially Saturday"? All-original Pete-style art, combined with completely a unrelated script, once a week for an extra Slugg-deprecating gag? It might make me start reading Saturdays again ...

I'm enjoying this story line, but after being informed about the writers block earlier it just doesn't feel the same. Everyone seems so convinced that it's going to all tie together in the end (which it very well may) but I'm left with this feeling of "flying by the seat of your pants".

The strip itself was cute, though.
At the risk of being redundant:
Yes, just a little. We are still in the intro stage of the story. Things always get better as the story gets moving.
