When friday was young, it was lucky to have a cup of tea. Even a cup of cold tea. Without milk or sugar. Or tea.

"Well, WE had it rough.......we had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before we went to bed, eat a lump of dry poison, work 26 hours at the mill, for tuppence, and when we got home our dad would cut us in half with a bread knife and dance about on our graves singing alleluia."
"Right, and you try and tell the kids today that, and they won't believe you."

Skiller labor = making money.........therefore, they'll be able to pay for a place to live.
And cookies are over-rated anyway........except peanut butter cookies.

It means that they can get a job and find a new place.
Anyway, does this week's comics really seem to be echoing the boards this week, or is it just me?

Please hang up and try again.
Poor Riff. "They invented charging 200,000 dollars for a toothbrush!" Is that why GWB's teeth are so white? Blah.
I can't spec right now because I have no idea where this is going. Yay!

Maybe not. Maybe the boards are pre-emptively echoing the comic.
Seriously... this back-and-forth series of cliffhangers - sell the house, don't sell the house, sell, the house and so on - looks planned and/or deliberate to me. Pete does like to yank chains.

Sure the goverment invented to charge outrageous money for useless stuff, but they hold a monopoly on it and punish anyone who tries to muscle in. LOL. The battle of the bluffs. I am beginning to like it.
BTW, if Riff consider living in the house illegally, Torg has a perfectly good rental agreement and no landlord who ever complained or issued an eviction note. As Torg's house guest, Rff should be safe!

It's from Futurama, yes. And basically, Torg and Co. are boned. I don't see how they're getting out of this.

Bleargh. Except for Riff's reply. The 200 000$ governmental toothbrush joke fell flat because of the non-sequitur of the cloners taking the house - drawing even more attention to a weakling plot device that seems to take forever.
I can't wait for this weak plot device to be in the past, whether it's used as is or modified. Whether they lose the house or not. We're stalling, here!
0.9 out of 2 poings. Go non-thinking Riff reply go! And to think Riff would go that low-tech as a churner. (-;
The chapter/week's name should be "What was Riff thinking anyway? Was he thinking??". That would be +0.05 poing or something hehehe.
"So many Riff blunders, so little time. And why can't Torg help me with the comical relief?" -Riff
