How exactly is Aylee holding onto Zoe? Her arms are over the top of Zoe's arms, not under like you would expect. Either Aylee is crushing Zoe against herself, and I don't see how Zoe would be able to breath. Or Zoe has to use all her strength (in an awkward position) to prevent herself from falling by gripping Aylee's arms with just her hands.

Yeah this feels a little over the top just like Zoë's intense dislike of Sasha out of nowhere (before the betrayal... foreshadowing?) was. For Aylee, however, she may simply be "emulating" how she thinks she's supposed to feel as seen on Lifetime™ Television.

Ah, the wisdom of Riff. Good call. One would hope they'd still be able to make the ship, even if it gets out into the bay a bit. I suspected N'aaaw would get away but didn't expect Riff to do the 180. I don't get why people infer Zoë disliking Sasha. All she did was matter-of-factly state she wasn't normal. Even Torg's nickname for her was "wierd girl".

Also, in what universe is four things "a couple of things"? Also also, yay team! Looking forward to the eventual conversation between Aylee and Torg.

So, looking back... The two demon-chicks had enough time to have an "I'm mellltinnng!" conversation, and Torg just stood there instead of thwacking the remaining threat? I don't get it. If he only attacks when threatened, then there's no reason for him to chase her; if he's not as picky, then he should have had plenty of swing time for ol' Chaz.

Her instant reaction of "drop the subject (or else!)" was what made me feel like there was more to it. http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20110823Honestly though, I don't know if that means "I'm annoyed Riff took my joking too seriously." "Jealous Riff is a pain to deal with and I'm shutting him down now" or "I don't want to talk about Sasha and I don't want to talk about why I don't want to talk about Sasha."

I was pretty puzzled why Riff would suddenly feel sympathy for "a girl who is running away" when he just saw that "girl" bite Sam's head off and prepare to do the same to his best friend. Then it occurred to me that given his history with Gwynn, if anyone has reason to hope for the rescue of the possessed, its him.

I thought he was just worried about what the cops/bystanders would think.
