Either way, I hope it's not the kind that explodes when it falls over.

Probably because the Deus Ex Ovum undid making him into a Prince of Persia.

Don't know why Pete called today's a "lame filler strip", there's nothing lame about it at all.
Intriguing, an all new take on the relationship between Squishydodo and Bun Bun.

Now I see where all the DotN and Sluggy Store revenue is going (referring to the bonus photo.)

That's because it'll show up on this Sunday instead. Hey, you can't do a New Year's Eve/Day strip the day after, it wouldn't be right!

Oh, you know; vile drink, turns respectable men into scoundrels, signal flame's a mile high, blah blah blah.

Only Pete can answer that. I think this might be the first New Year's without a bottle of 151 somewhere in the strip. If the elf really cared about Bun-Bun, he'd have opened a bottle to toast him.

What was freaky was, for a while I misplaced the 'our' and thought that the son was Bun-Bun's!
I knew his organization did not have the healthiest workplace dynamic (see when he took it over), but it's good to realize it didn't have that particular problem as well.
