I can't believe that guy STILL thinks that her lips feel off! After they found the two from the boat! LOL Classic! Of course now we know why he fell for the lie so easily...
I think that those are his eyelids as seen THROUGH the goggles.
On a side note, Crushestro's pal seems to be panicking a bit there as he runs from his room on the monitor in panel 6.

I have always thought that the goggles that all of Shankraft's minions (and Shankraft himself) wear were weird. They have what I call "inverted cigarette" shapes in them - why? So, having "eyelids" in them is just one more weirdness. My personal take is that it's Pete using artistic license to show more expressiveness. And yes, Hanz is definitely one can short of a sixpack. And the "board dude" is definitely weird. I still don't think we've had a full view of everyone sitting around that table yet - Pete will probably have a lot of fun introducing new and ever weirder characters...  P.S: The squirrel (I don't think it's completely clear wether he's Pasquirlio yet) is definitely checking out the soup - he might have some trouble eating it though - swimming in it is more likely. And good eye, Sayersong! I never see any of these things on the first read-through, and many things I don't see until others point them out. And Sasha can take care of herself.

It's funny, when he said "hair" the first thing I thought was that he was going to give them radiation poisoning.
