well shewt, looks like I'll have to rewrite the book-chapter-title parser for NiftySearch...
but I do like the new way to navigate straight to a date.

EDIT: YES! Thank you Emergency Pants, that b-c-t parser will be dead simple!

Nifty New site! Oooooh. Shiny! :kiki: <poing> <poing>

'course, Pete was a tad premature with the "100% of the archives"... But I have confidence that the Internal Server Errors will go away very soon...

Good work, guys!

(Now if we could only get the forums fixed so that we can spell Zoe correctly... :zoe:)
Nag, nag, nag.

Oh no, that was me just rejoicing at my job being easier, not my job being done.

I'll probably be doing that by tomorrow.

I have a complaint. No weekly mode = much more hassle when reading the archives. :/

I'll second that.

Fourthed. (That doesn't even look like word, does it?)

Please bring back weekly mode.

The offer is still open if you'd like to integrate NiftySearch into Sluggy's server. Now that the site is live, it should be easier. E.g. getting access to the database might help :)

Weekly mode isn't dead! It's just resting quietly while it morphs into a beautiful, beautiful butterfly.

Filler for a week beginning 10th August? What? That is just completely and utterly out of order!

For the past few weeks, as I have been suffering the day-by-day crawl of this story, I have been comforting myself that I'm going away for a week starting 10th August, so for once, when I get back, I'll be able to read a really good chunk in one go (if and when they restore weekly view...)

And what does Pete go and do?

It's true. The man really is evil...

What rotten luck, Anonybrit! But I think many of the rest of us will welcome a filler week or two, it's been pretty intense.

Agreed... Pete, take your time! The quality has been outstanding, and I for one am perfectly happy to wait a bit to keep it so! I'm especially delighted with your coloring and lighting work; this chapter has been downright cinematic and gorgeous.

Plus it gives me a week to iron out the rest of Pete's absurd demands on the new siet.

And restore Weekly View. Seriously guys, stop throwing bricks through my window. My landlord and my car insurance company are no longer amused. :bert:

Also, i don't personally mind filler weeks much. like, at all. mostofthetimegetnoideasifyouplease :torg: Just because it provides a nice break that is less intense sometimes, and lets the comic get back to random funnies ration.
