How exactly is there not a thread yet?

Anyway, who's going? I'd love to go, but I don't think I can make it. I've got a question, though. If I can't make it, is it a possibility that someone could buy me a softcover Megatome, get it signed by Pete (to my screen name), and mail it to me? I'd pay you back for the book and shipping, plus whatever you think is fair (and I think is reasonable) on top of that for the favor.

Kristy and I will be there (of course), as well as.....how does he spell his name here, Phaedrus? I think that's it.

As for the Tome, where exactly do you live VBB? If it's nearby enough, we *might* be able to snag one for you.

Northern VA. I'm on the SluggyMap, if you want a more exact location.

Well, I'm almost never here, but I am going to Ubercon. Skullx can't make it last I heard, but he has a plausible excuse.

So, who else it going besides the two guys and one girl who I oggle on the UC Forums?

You oogle my guys too? I think I might be jealous ;-)

The Max and Cows_with_guns both said something about Ubercon in the MEgatomes thread so I think they might be going. I have no idea who either of them are though...

Just an FYI: Yes, UC was quite awesome. They had free Amp energy soda, non-stop gaming, and a costume-contest-karaoke.
Pete was generous enough to sign a megatome, and even doodle a Riff for me. The next UC will be in Feb, I think. (I do definitely recommend it)

They also had Jolt gum and Jolt mints :)<twitch>
Oh, and they had Cobra's in a Cockpit (which is by no means a rip off of a mother f-in' Samuel L. movie....really...) I was quite glad since I really wanted to try that game, but didn't want to have to buy it. (A tip for anyone who plays: Don't be pythons, they suck. King snakes are your best bet.)

I've been to all but one Ubercon since UC2 and always have a good time. UC8 was no exception. My biggest complaint was that karaoke took up the whole bar area each night. (I'm not one for karaoke)

We have been to all of them since 2.....

Yea, it was a ton of fun, and thanks to Wes, I got to play the 360! (Hurray Wes!)

The next one is going to be somewhere in the Feb/March area, they're still working out when (something to do with finding the best weekend that doesn't conflict with other nearby cons around the same time).

Nope we missed one. It was either 4 or 5, I think. Check your badges when you get home.

Yea, and speaking of that, Kristy refuses to admit it, but I showed her all my badges when I got home and proved we were at all of them since 2 :P

Oh, and we've been living together for just over 2 years (2 years and about 2 months)......you suck at this keeping track of #'s thing. ;)
