Any of you all going to catch the Arrogant Worms in Harvard Sq. 4/20? I was planning to regretfully give it a miss until I found out that Paul and Storm (late of DaVinci’s Notebook) are opening for them. This is a conjunction not to be missed; all it would need to approach perfection would be an unscheduled acoustic set afterwards by Page and Plant while lovely women freely distributed custard-filled donuts, rice pudding, vanilla wafers and dark beer to the audience. Of course, were that actually to happen, I expect that I would vanish to a higher plane, having achieved a sort of Nirvana…
I realize that this possibly belongs in Important stuff, but alas, not being a mod, I can't start a new thread there.

That annoys me so much...the Worms haven't toured in Canada for so long (I think their last Canadian show was 2003, IIRC). I love them, but I've never seen them live...

Check their website, Pilot; they just spent a month in BC and they're all over Canada most of the time. This will just be their 3rd US show this year, and they've been on the road much of the year so far. I'm sure they'll be somewhere near you sometime soon. Me, I've got to do a 9-hour drive up on Thursday, but at least I can dawdle back down Friday. Anybody not familiar with Paul and Storm (or DaVinci's Notebook of lamented memory), they're the guys who did Ballad of the Sneak on Homestar. Now all I have to do is sell an organ or two to raise some cash..
