When we've done these little surveys in the past, we've had a much more balanced sex ratio than we appear to have now. What the heck happened?

39 individuals (at initial time of posting) is hardly representative of a population of over 6,000...
And some of the main female contributors are notable for their current absences...
Also, the result of any survey you stick up like this never models the responses of the population as a whole, but the responses of a subset of the population that has the most time on its hands...
so basically the reason the fairer sex are underrepresented at the moment is that male sluggites are slackers with little better to do......
go fig...

The "yes please" answer works better to a question of sexual preference than just sex if you ask me.
A population of 6,000 isn't really a population of 6,000. I'd bet that the ammount of people in that number that were ever remotely active posters is less than half.
