Just kidding. This should prove interesting. Skullx already has a title, as do several other of our avvie artists. Newbloods, it's your time to shine!

i recall the old avatar contest, in which i made one for pete... would i be allowed to resubmit that? and, do we have to make one for everyone, or can we submit one separately?
edit: oh, and can we only submit one per person? like, if i get a better idea, could i submit that aswell?

You can submit only one avatar if you so desire :) And you can submit as many avatars as you desire. Our only rule here is that the submissions be original, and not lifted off of an avatar factory somewhere.

Ah well, my submissions are up, plus one.

Yeah! I had these plans to make some great avatar base to stick the images in.. and there are some things I wish I could have done differently, but oh well. :')
I think they (my entries).. sort of.. look shiny.
..wait. That'll attract Kiki to news posts. ;o

Heh, they look fine - I thought about making them so that they have some sort of border around them, but I've never been much good at making such things look good.

Well, glassy/glossy would probably fit into the new theme quite well, actually.

I think I'm too dark oriented to pull off glassy/glossy. Whenever I do something the colors are either too dark or too vibrant. Never can get an in-between. Downright annoying, it is.

ok, thank you. but after reviewing the specs for avatars, i must humbly decline. most of my works are around 20kish.
i do more complex things.

Yeah, those are a tad large - we want a bit of personality infused to the post through the avatar, but don't want the avatars to overwhelm the page.

while they may not fit the standards of the avatars, i think they're beautiful. Mind sharing any of your techniques for creating them?
