I'm Happy with my av (though I wouldn't complain about a new one) but I have a quick question...

What is with the circle things people have suddenly? Are they for special people only? Did I miss something?

If anyone could work some serious magic with my current avi (Jack Skellington), that would be most awesome! The Avi Circle of Doom, miscellaneous Photoshop/Paintshop effects. If anyone wants the larger image (it might be easier to work with), feel free to let me know.

may I enquire as to what type of band this wagon is carrying? Is it a rock bamd, a band of thieves or a rubber band. It can only be one of those three. Why? Because I said so thats why!

Alas! Unfortinally my skills with images faisl here... The format for the blank circle imagee used didn't exactly work, looks you guys will have to PM someone else to join the Bandwagon...

Now NON Circle Avatars I'm still up for doing!

EDIT: Responding to bellow
"Sorry Crake! Never read "Sandman" and couldn't help you there.. sounds dark and brooding, not my style...

Well Crossroads if you go back a few pages you will see a request of mine that has been ignored for a few weeks if you want something specific to keep you busy.

i've got a PSD file, and im told, so does thyla, but no gimp file. I can give you an image with just a white background under the circly part, the middle of which can be set with the blending mode overlay, and just trim the picture underneath to size
thats probably easyest

What exactly is wrong with it the way it is?

Nothing's wrong with it- sometimes someone just wants a cool picture made cooler. I just can't really do much in the way of graphical prettying-up right now since I have no PSP or Adobe on any of the computers I screw around with at work.
Besides, I also have 2 or three more images that can be used if one does not wish to fudge around/ fudge up Jack.

It's probably worth mentioning that the GIMP can handle psd files, so that might be all anyone needs.

Well here is a request to all you avatar makers outside of the usual circle frame demands recently. This one is fairly simple, I want a raven to be attacking a penguin and have a red "VS" in the middle.
