A friend of mine has written a play. This play is based the Terry Pratchett character Nanny Ogg and the publishing house which publishes her cook book. Some of the material is lifted straight from Nanny Ogg's Cook Book while some is new material. I have been cast as the male lead. Next weekend we travel down to Sydney to perform at the Discworld convention in front of Sir Terry himself.

Get his autograph and post a picture of it!

Get a picture of yourself with the man! Or, you know, it didn't happen.

While I became quite sick this weekend, I didn't let that stop me. With a plethora of drugs keeping me upright I expertly fumbled my through the hour long production. Sir Terry laughed his way through the performance and stayed behind afterwards for photos with cast and crew. I will post these once I've received a copy. For now, before the adrenaline and drugs wear off, I shall find my way back to my room to crash.

My brother's science comedy podcast (Smart Enough to Know Better) has been running for a year and been featured on Cracked.

There's also an international accents competition which some of you may be interested in.

Um, well, don't know how big this is in the grand scheme of things, and I know I keep all-but disappearing from the place, but I graduated college yesterday. I now hold a B.A. in Mathematics, with a minor in education. Next up comes finding a job teaching (high schoolers), and getting into grad school (probably education, possibly math, possibly something entirely else like physics, psychology, or drama).

So yeah! The sweet little eighth grader who's obsessed with Riff and stuff is now a college graduate. Do y'all feel old?

Not really, seeing as I'm only just now graduating high school... Literally, my party is next weekend. Yay!

You'll be dealing with teenagers. You won't need an education in drama, they provide it all on their own.

I could have sworn I told you to stop growing up.

But seriously, congratulations, now you get to suffer in the real world like the rest of us.

My fiance an I adopted a dog today. Swarley is the newest addition to our family.
Day 1: Lola the cat does not take well to Swarley. Swarley pooped and peed indoors, yuck.
