Piper and Felix are in the guest rooms; Arkady, Roger, Sir Ulath and Ivan are upstairs in the Countess' tower. (Not quite sure which of these two groups Nate is currently with; whichever it is, he's been hanging about quietly in the background).

I wonder if I can go the enchanted dwarven technology route by taking an appropriate stunt and learning how to craft magic bullets? Perhaps some time spent with Zalasbra would allow me to take the Personal Artifact: Magic Bullets stunt?
If Zalasbra won't help I'll go to Vanire and see if he'll let me become a Pandion Knight. Perhaps I can even become a Preceptor for an organization of Knight's Terra given time.

Arkady already has that stunt (artificer). He'd need a bit of training, though.

Nate is a quantum entity, simultaneously existing everywhere until directly observed.
Seriously, though, he's probably with Arkady, and just keeping quiet.

Wouldn't hurt to have more of us learn magic and take appropriate stunts.
Besides, Felix is a builder and a scholar. He loves learning things and making things. Magic bullets are right up his alley.

There is at least one arcane workshop (suitable for Artificering) in this world. If you pay attention, you might even notice that it has already been mentioned in passing. (No, you haven't been there yet).
Zalasbra taking a Terran apprentice is not impossible, but will involve the apprentice heading away with Zalasbra for in-game months or years of training.
The Knightly Orders (including the Pandion order and Sir Ulath's Genidian Order) are the military arm of a specific church. They only accept worshippers of the Elene god into their ranks and (usually) only ones of sufficiently noble birth with long family histories. It'll be easier creating a new Knightly Order attached to a new Church than to join the Pandions. (There's nothing actually preventing other churches from employing their own Knightly Orders. It's just that the Elene Church is by far the biggest in the region - all other local churches are too small).
Piper's job (among other things) is to cover for any necessary Magic support. She won't be with you forever.

We should try to visit this place and see if we can't replicate it for Arkady and myself.
And I suppose creating an organization of Knights Terra would be for the best... assuming we can find a source of magic to learn from.

You might find it informative to find out where the Pandions learn their magic from...

Lady Sephrenia, who currently doesn't have a high opinion of Felix and the Terrans.

And who is not an Elene. Nor a follower of the Elene god.

Arkady, who's closest historical link to Church knights is the Teutonic order (and their successor state, Prussia), is not going to be dancing a little jig of joy when he hears that idea first broached.

Why Knights? Why not a Special Forces group? Pull in magic users from other places and churches until we can train our own, and add them into the teams just like having a squad support machine gunner, medic, or designated marksman?

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. The local Romans do Knights, so we should do Knights. They don't have to be swordsmen and horseback. Special forces that are called Knights.

I should make Sir Ulath a new axe. An upgraded axe with +1 to hit and damage like in the rules for upgrading gear.
