Hm... Sir, I would take care of this matter tonight, but Aimee feels that it would help Judith if she went out to a nightclub to relax. I do not believe that it is safe for Judith to go on her own, nor that Aimee alone would be enough if something were to happen. May I be permitted to accompany the two of them tonight, and perform this task the next night?

"Whatever floats your boat, Gares. I just promiced you something pulled out of the pipe just for you, remember? This is it. But make sure those girls stay safe. That's more important. We need this team ready for combat."

I will. And don't worry... I'll make sure to clear my calender for tomorrow.

"Good. Don't let Hughes get out of hand, but make sure Merari enjoys herself."

Jack reaches forward and picks up the phone.

"Page Thomas Bellsworth and Patrick Briscoe, send them to my office. Check the Armoury or Library."

Hopefully, there won't be any problems.

*With that, Gares heads back to Judith's room, and knocks on the door.*

Judith opens the door, dressed and ready. She's wearing some calf length stretch jeans and a red see-through blouse under which she has a tan camisole.

Indeed. Stington understands, after all, that it would hardly be a life worth living... or a reasonable facsimile thereof... without the occasional chance to have a little fun which doesn't involve cleaving moaning skulls in twain. At any rate, I need to change into something a tad more stylish, after which, I will be ready to accompany the two of you.

*Once again, Gares heads off, then returns a few minutes later, dressed in what is perhaps his best suit, cane in hand. Although the design went out of style a century or two ago, Gares has found that the distant retro look often works quite well, even in the modern day.*

Believe it or not, I have yet to find anything in any age that suits me better.

Aimee emerges from her room, straightening a denim and ruffle skirt and a bead-accented green-fading-to-black tank top. She wears her boots, of course, as well, and tosses her loose poof of a braid behind her.
"Whaddya' think Jude-?" she starts, but quickly abandons, noticing Gares is in the room. She notes his suit and nods in approval. "For a guy who drinks only blood, you've got good taste."

Of course. Why else would I only drink blood?

"You make sure you eat before you leave," she suggests, hoping Gares planned ahead.

"I'm ready!"
