And despite the situation, the woman in the suit begins to laugh. "Hahaha! You guys must not be from around here! Everyone from this area and the surrounding sectors know who I am... Those bastard pirates sure as hell do." She presses a button on the side of her helmet, and the dome shaped helmet retracts into the suit, revleaing a young looking woman with long blond hair tied back in a tail. She extends her right hand for shaking, "I'm Samus Aran, protector of this planet. I'm also a Bounty Hunter, and I've delt with those pirate bastards before, and let me tell ya, I doubt we're out of the woodworks yet."

Samus then notices the little shadow on the ground looking at her, "What in the world..." She bends down and looks at Awaikage, "Hey there little guy. Come on out of there, I'm not gonna hurt ya..."

"SAMUS ARAN!"

Samus snaps her body up at the lip of the crater, upon which stands a very sleek looking Space pirate, his body covered in a metalic mesh and weilding a very big sniper riffle. Samus grins, "Well well well, looks like some survived." She slaps the neck of her suit and her helmet reapears. The pirate growls out, "You and your allies will be killed in accordance to the Space Pirate Code. Resist and your deaths will be far more painful than needed. Surrender and death will come swiftly. Resistance is futile." He leaps into the crater, followed closely by two grunts, a Pirate that seems to be in some sort of makeshift suit of armor, and one with his arm scythes bladed and plated with metal. They land in front of the ground and advance. Samus tosses a tank of energy into the air and blasts it, it covers the shadow and the keymaster with her blade, making them feel quite refreshed. "If you three want to live, I'd not hold back. These guys are on a different level than those little grunts... I'd used that possessed blade to it's best potentail Keymaster..." It seems Samus knows more than she let on...

(Hello again kiddies! This is going to be your first Storyline battle. Unlike the grunts, these three have classes and powers assigned to them, so they are going to be stronger than the others. This being a Storyline battle means more than just Classed NPCs, it also means that the story will change depending on if you win or lose the battle. However you have an edge this time around, Samus Aran will fight with you and help you against these foes. Be watchful of the classes powers, and fight your best. Killing a Classed NPC is worth more JP than just a Grunt, so don't let Samus have all the fun! Remember, classes have all the strengths and weakness of real characters, meaning if you find the proper element you might do more damage.)

Laria reaches upwards to take the other woman's hand, still cautious in case of some kind of trick. As not attack is made, however, she begins to relax little by little, or at least until the space pirates show up with another suicide squad.

"Same plan as last time, okay? I'll close the distance on the sniper, you take him out." Sprinting full tilt into the center of the group of pirates, she comes sliding to a halt and holds Xara out in front of her, ready to parry anything the sniper fires her way. "Take him down!"

Whoops, my bad. There's the correct map, go ahead and make another post when you want to do your attack, and that 9 on speed is a typo, it should be 10, I doubled checked. When it goes cloak, you won't even know where it is, it won't show up on the map grid.

"Gone huh?" Laria shakes her head and glares daggers at the burly pirate. "Well he can't get far, and I'll try my best to get us in range of him when he re-appears. Until then though..." Laria darts forward, a spiral of energy wrapping around her blade and pulling dragging her towards the raving monster. "...I'll just get this guy!" Thrusting Xara in at the pirate's midsection and hoping her luck wont turn sour again, she quickly attacks and slides past her target; slowing to a more reasonable speed before continuing on towards the sniper's last visible location, keyblade held ready to repel any shots the sniper may fire.

"Forget the sniper..."

Laria picks herself off the ground and glares daggers at the berserker, suprised that one of these creatures could actually harm her without a shield to keep her at bay. Maybe she'd underestimated them... or maybe they just got lucky. Either way, the sniper is gone for now, so she's not going to take the risk of finding out which.

"...it can run all it wants. This guy's still trying to cause problems for us."

A soft glow envelops Xara as Laria concentrates, her companion held out horizontally in front of her.

"No more holding back, let's end this."

Dashing forward, she swings the keyblade blindingly fast, attacking the large pirate's midsection with the first three blows before delivering a sweep to its legs and a follow to its head. Bringing the keyblade down for a moment so that it is perpendicular to the ground, she then brings it up vertically across the pirate's body, and leaps upward along with the momentum. Reversing her grip, she drives it downwards with all her might, delivering the final blow while screaming in a detatched voice, "Ars Arcanum!"

Pulling Xara free from the ground where the previous attack had buried him, Laria begins glowing a soft blue again as she recharges her spent power, all the while staring down at the dead or maimed pirate.
