Harry checks his sidearm, making sure it's ready, and tries to scan the area outside the crawlspace while he answers. "I've been with you the whole time, Doc. You told me you saw me die, but I sure don't remember dying. Not sure how we ended up here, though. Our patrol wasn't headed for downtown Kandahar."

Kincaid surmises that he'll be able to quickly pinpoint the locus once security is back on line.

Speaking of security, the team gets to the room indicated on Control's floor plans as the security office. Visually, it appears to be a battered, but intact building. The door is closed, made of metal (which looks very out-of-place in the surroundings.) Baker and Dita can hear voices behind the door - there are no forward-facing windows.

<"Sergeant Baker, once you get the security system back up, I should be able to pinpoint the precise location of the disturbance. My indications show you just outside the security office. No information on what lies behind that door.">

"It was a hospital, though. I was in a hospital. Then I had a dream that I saved you, and now we're back. I think someone is &^%$ing with us."

Ken's sidearm is also in hand. His eyes move, searching for what movement he can see from where he's taken cover.

Baker approaches the door, crouched low and moving quietly. He rests his Smartgun on the ground and manipulates it so that he can use the sight picture displayed in his Eyes to see under the door.

Dita stands by opposite Baker and prepares herself to Hulk Smash anything hostile that may be on the other side.

If Baker's foot-count is accurate, there are four people within the room. It's hard to be 100% sure without the ability to detect through solid objects (an ability that Dita possesses, should she care to mention so.)

Slender, meanwhile, detects six consciousnesses beyond the door.

Three mujahideen - likely Taliban, from their dress - are sweeping the area around Doc and Harry. "Sure don't look like no hospital I ever seen, Doc." Harry's hand starts to twitch, as it often did before he rushed out to do something reckless. "Dammit, I hate sitting around."

"Hold your horses, Harry. We have no backup that I know of. If we have to we'll hit them, but let's wait for a time more in our favor."

Ken keeps his voice low, resting a hand on Harry's shoulder.

"Chie," states Slender, "I'm picking up six individuals behind the door." Slender readies himself for orders.

"We need to breach this hard then and hit them fast. Either of you got any tricks up your sleeves?"
