Shar nods, not looking entirely convinced, but at least somewhat relieved. "Yes, Captain." He follows the Captain out of the conference room and heads back onto the bridge. "Ensign Haraldsen, signal to convoy we'll be on our way in five minutes. Lieutenant M'raul, set a course for our destination, warp 4." Shar takes a seat in the command chair. He turns to Lieutenant Commander Kinski, who has taken his customary B-Shift seat to his right. "George, I know this is a sensitive subject for you, but you need to try to tone back your assertiveness." He smiles, patting the larger man on the shoulder, trying to reassure him.

"I have been, Commander."

Kinski gives Shar a thin smile, which unfortunately stretches the Lieutenant Commander's skin awkwardly across the unnatural geography of his jaw. The human officer goes to work; this is not the place for two field-grade officers to discuss the Captain.
