That's not fair. Training you to fight and then telling you not to fight is hypocritical, not schizophrenic.

I stand by my unfounded diagnosis of mental illness. There's nothing morally inconsistent about teaching combat skills and expecting them not to go out using them - that's the foundation of many forms of self-defense. On the other hand, teaching teenagers to be superheroes (which itself requires a certain rejection of herd mentality and ability to act independently and decisively) and expecting them not go out and do it because they're too young? Now THAT'S crazy.
