"For that matter... how are we going to get back?"

Ding eyes the picnic, looking for any fruit.

The picnic food is still good, and as it was packed with Ding in mind, it includes fruit. Since the Plane got you here, it seems reasonable that it could get you back if it had a fresh battery, and Su Lin's workshop contains an admirable collection of fresh batteries.

The question is, will you head straight home or take the time to take a holiday somewhere on the way home?

Kip hands out food to all and sundry, eating a nut or two before speaking.

"Well, we're all the way out here, it'd be a shame not to go explore a little bit."

"Wahph?" Ding swallows a mouthful of fruit. "I suppose we may as well. I've been around a good amount of the world already, suppose I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of it."

Buck swallows the mouthful of cheese he'd been gnawing on.

"I know this great Chinese place in Hawaii, they've got the best eggrolls you've ever had."

Buck and Avery will no doubt recall that Future Kip mentioned something about Hawaii - at the time, with no idea of the context, it didn't mean anything.

"I do like eggrolls, and an island vacation does sound like fun to me."

He grins.

"How about it, guys?"

Hex shrugs nervously, "Whatever you guys wanna do is fine with me. However, we should probably see about appropriating some new batteries for the plane before someone thinks to seal Su-lin's workshop."

"Maybe there's some other stuff in there we could use. Hmm" Ding wings toward the workshop. Assuming that it is clear of any humans, there will arise such a clatter as Ding starts rummaging around for any handy gadgets, gizmos, doohickeys, thingamajiggers, or widgets... along with the batteries, of course.

Ding does find some useful spare parts. None of the completed toys are light enough to carry back on the Plane, and all the tools are human-sized, so the parts are the only useful things to take.
