Miss NPC tries to nervously conceal her smile behind her hair, mostly successfully.

Dr. Drew points two fingers at his eyes, then points those fingers at Jimmy, before returning to his lesson.

Dr. Drew is very enamoured of the glory of Mad Science, as well-evidenced by his teaching. In his eyes, nothing is cooler than Science!.

Class eventually winds to a close, and the students are dismissed, with the rest of the afternoon to themselves.

Al pays careful attention in class. This class looks like it'll be fun.

Once class is over, though, he looks through the various bits of paper he was given for a campus map and follows it to the library. Heroic Banter have him some reading to do.

Despite Dr. Drew's attempt to put him on the bit, Jimmy feigns complete disinterest all class. He pays enough attention that he'll be able to get a passing mark, though. He isn't stupid.

After class, when Callie is otherwise unavailable to spar with, Jimmy instead throws some flirt Miss NPC's way, because why not? Just enough to build his hand up a bit. Then he breaks off with Tim and whoever else for a meeting of the minds, to figure out the consensus for the day.

Banter: Jimmy approves, even though Mr. Smith is a robot, or something. Ben Stein.
Civics: Disapprove. But for Tim's sake, Jimmy will maybe tone stuff down. Maybe. Fipps hasn't got a total reprieve yet.
Gym: Without saying, awesome. When are tryouts? Friday? Word.
Physics: Jimmy approves, actually. Math is lame, but Jimmy is intrigued by the idea of being a Spacetronaut.
Science: Lame. Dr. Drew is a ham. Science is for sidekicks (no offense Gary, who is smart).

"Now who's hungry? I'm starving."

Tim pays careful attention in class. This isn't his sort of thing, but the teacher makes it interesting enough to follow.

He does, eagerly, lay down his thoughts of the day.

Banter: Wordplay is awesome, it'll be fun trying to get Mr. Smith to break a smile.
Civics: Meh. The most interesting thing will be watching the others wind Fipps up.
Gym: Friday, Friday, Friday! Though hopefully there will be actual power training as well. Fun!
Physics: Meh. Math.
Science: Tentatively cool. Might get to see some explosions and stuff.

"Food would be awesome. Who thinks there will be a repeat of last meal time with the heroes taking on that sidekick again?"

Gary packs up his stuff and wanders out after the class is dismissed. He'll head back to his dorm to see if the rest of his stuff (computer, etc..) has arrived, drop off his books, and then head down to the cafeteria to grab some dinner.

"I dunno. I think those goons may have blown off a lot of steam earlier beating on those heros."

Jimmy winces at the memory.

"But they may be more insufferable now, too. Whatever, they'll learn not to pick on a freshman if he's an 18 year old UFC fighter type."

Jimmy drops his stuff at the room and heads down to the caf to meet the others.

"It's weird not leaving school after classes are over. Anybody do the boarding thing in Junior High?

And so everyone heads back to the unsegregated part of campus.
