Des leads the pair back to the tavern, where Bolor and Guai surely await an update on the situation.

Albert provides a suitable summary. It's clear from the summary that he's really impressed at Tyrone's negotiation skills; he provides a very thorough run-through of said negotiation, together with a brief note on Annabelle's situation ending with "...and how mature are most humans at fourteen anyway?"

"As mature as some humans get, I suppose."

Bolor is sitting with his back to the fire. It reminds him of the forge back home, and that always makes him angry. Sometimes though, a good angry is helpful.

"They're going to need training, I bet. Especially when other gangs think they've sold out, or the Lord's enemies get a look at what we've done here. I get to meet this guy? I'd like to talk with him."

"You could go there now, as a show of good faith, while I go talk to Highaxe about the situation."

Tyrone turns to the assembeled shopkeepers, because obviously their paying dues to Highaxe again is a big part of the plan.

"Listen men, I know that Lord Highaxe was unable to fulfill his duties to you for a while, and that you found an arrangement to work in the meantime. However, those young men are henceforth going to be the guildmaster's guards for this area, and won't be receiving payment from you directly anymore. I'll most likely be able to get you all reestablished as guild members entirely as if nothing had happened if that is what you'd like, as well."

"I do miss the dinners," remarks Des, though he clearly looks to the chubby elf for direction.

The elf thinks about it for a while. "Dues cost more, but a safer neighbourhood means more business. And there's the benefits aside from simple guards, too - Council access, standards, all that." He looks around at the other shopkeepers. When no one speaks up, he shrugs and looks back at Tyrone. "What the heck. You get those boys working for Hendal, we'll look into getting caught up on our Dues."

Tyrone's grin is magnificent. He nudges Bolor with an elbow.

"And you figured we'd have to kill everyone."

Tyrone exeunt, laughing.
