Okay, this is going to sound like I'm quite the princess... which I am... but bare with me.

When I go to type in the URL of the forum, from www.s onward it shows http://www.sluggy.net/modules.php?name=Forums as the top option (using Firefox, that is. In IE it has "www.sluggy.com" first and then modules.php), meaning I have to type out the entire name (the horror, the horror!), rather than just hitting down+enter. That, and I keep accidentally going to the old forum address.

So... would it be at all possible to, say, set up the modules.php address to automatically redirect to here? I'll bet there are some people with the forum address in their bookmarks who'll try to get to it, get a "site not found" message and assume it's down, not realising it was moved.

Stupid, petty, irrelevant suggestion, I know, but hey... just wondering.

It takes about five seconds to update your bookmark to the new url. The old one will be gone from your history (and so won't come up in the location bar) within a week. Bearing that in mind, it hardly seems worth it.

Yeah, but useless features are what make the world go round!

I'm definitely the kind of guy who'll spend 5 hours figuring out a way to save himself 10 minutes. And, at the end of the day, I'll be proud of the work I've accomplished. :kiki:

Empty your location bar cache, all will be returned to normal shortly.
